Expenses, budgets and income, by voice

Say what you spent. It's tracked.

Speak a whole day's spending in one breath, say what came in, snap a receipt, or drop in a bank or card statement and let every line be read for you. Findmicash sorts every expense by company and category, holds it against the budget you set, by voice too, and shows what each month leaves you after income. Shared with the people you spend with.

Voice Assistant
Listening…
“I spent 300 at Kroger, 400 at Amazon, 5 at Starbucks, and dinner at Chick-fil-A was 75.”
Got four expenses. Anything else, or done?
  • Kroger Groceries$300.00
  • Amazon Shopping$400.00
  • Starbucks Coffee$5.00
  • Chick-fil-A Dining$75.00
“And Acme paid me 2,400 today.”
Acme Corp Income+$2,400.00
“Set my October budget to 3,000 with 800 for groceries and 400 for dining.”
October budget$3,000
Groceries $800 Dining $400 Everything else $1,800
Say “save” to keep all of this: the expenses, the income and the budget.
Nothing is saved until you say so. Correct it by voice: “change Starbucks to 10”, “remove the Amazon one”.

Three steps, no spreadsheets

You never sort or tag your own transactions. You say what happened; Findmicash does the filing.

1

Speak, snap, upload or type

Tell the assistant what you spent and what you were paid, several things at once. Photograph a receipt and the store, total and date are read off it. Upload a bank or card statement and every line is read for you. Or type it the ordinary way.

2

It's filed for you

Each expense gets its company, category and date; each payment in gets its source. The assistant reads everything back and asks about anything it could not hear, a statement is shown line by line for you to tick, and nothing is saved until you say so.

3

See where it goes

The dashboard holds spending against your budget, shows the top categories and the companies you pay most, and, once income is in, what the month left you.

Everything you need to know where your money goes

Built for the way people actually spend: quickly, in many places, and with other people.

Expenses and income by voice

Say a whole day in one sentence, and what came in: “Acme paid me 2,400 today.” The assistant picks out every amount, company, source and category, lets you correct any of them by voice, shows the list for you to check, and saves only when you say so. Out loud it keeps it short, so people nearby do not hear your amounts.

Budgets by voice, split by category

“Set October to 3,000 with 800 for groceries.” Set aside part of the month for the categories that matter; the rest is “everything else”. Change one part later without touching the others.

Alerts before it's too late

You hear at 50%, 75%, 90%, 98% and 100% of the month's budget, and at 75%, 90% and 100% of each category budget, on the web and on your phone, the moment the expense that crosses the line is saved.

Receipts, read and kept

Point the camera at a receipt or pick one from your gallery: store, total and date are read from the image and the picture stays attached to the expense. Tap it to read it again, zoomed, without leaving the page. Pull a month of receipts back out whenever the accountant asks, as a ZIP of the files or as one PDF with a page per receipt.

What you bought, and what it costs

Every line of a receipt is kept: the thing, how much of it, the price per unit and the shop. So you can see what milk usually costs you, that it is up 12% since June, which shop is cheapest, and what is due to be bought again this week.

Money in vs money out

Record what comes in from each employer, client or tenant: say it to the assistant (“I got paid 2,400 from Acme”), add it on the Income page, or let a bank statement fill it in. A salary or rent can repeat itself: set it weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly or yearly and each payment is recorded on its date, without ever counting a payday twice when the bank statement arrives as well. Findmicash learns which sources are fixed and which vary, when each is next expected, and flags one that is late, then shows what the month left you: saved, or overspent.

Know your companies

Every company you pay is read from its own history: how often (monthly, yearly, occasional), what kind of charge (fixed, variable, subscription) and whether you are spending more or less there than last period. Subscriptions stop hiding.

Any month, any range

Look at this month, last March, or any two dates: the last 30 days, a quarter, the whole year. Every tile, chart and table follows, and a range adds up the budgets of the months it covers, prorating partial ones.

One account, the whole household or team

Invite people by email as Admin, Editor or User. See who recorded what with the “Created By” filter, and decide per member whether they see everyone's transactions and income or only their own. Give each person their own share of the month's budget — $500 for one, $800 for another — and choose who may see the household budget and who may change it.

Your data, in the format you need

One Excel workbook holds the period on screen with a sheet each for expenses, budgets and income, amounts kept as numbers. The company breakdown and budget history export to CSV or PDF, filters included, and receipts come as a ZIP or one PDF. Recurring expenses repeat themselves; 27+ currencies are supported.

Bank and card statements

Bring in a whole month at once

Upload the PDF or CSV your bank or card issuer gives you, or photograph the pages on your phone. Every line is read and shown to you for review: purchases become expenses with their company and category, salary and deposits become income, and nothing is written until you say so.

  • PDF, CSV, or photos of the pages, from the dashboard or the Income page, on the web and on the phone.
  • Expenses and income from the same statement, matched to the companies and income sources you already have.
  • The card payment that shows on both your bank and card statements is set aside, and lines you have already recorded are skipped, so nothing is counted twice.
  • Tick, fix or drop any row before it is added, and undo the whole import in one click. Files are read once and not kept.

Not only what you spent, but what you bought

Every line on a receipt is kept as a purchase: the thing, how much of it, the price per unit, the date and the shop. Nothing extra to type, and the transaction's own amount never changes.

  • What each thing usually costs you: the lowest, the average and the highest you have paid, and how far the price has moved.
  • Which shop is cheapest for it, what each charges on average, and what you last paid at each.
  • A shopping list of what is due again, worked out from how often you buy it, grouped by your usual shop or by the cheapest one.
  • Sales tax, tips and fees are kept apart from the things you bought. A name a receipt shortened can be renamed, and two entries for one thing folded together.

Made for the people you spend with

One shared budget, and every person adds to it in seconds, without a group chat about who paid for what.

Households

Everyone spends, one budget holds

  • Each person records their own spending, and what they were paid, by voice from their own phone; it all lands in the same month.
  • Category budgets for groceries, dining and the rest, with alerts to everyone before the month runs out.
  • See who spent what with the “Created By” filter, and what the household kept after income.
  • Bills that repeat every month are recorded once and recur on their own.
Small businesses & teams

Receipts in, reports out

  • Staff photograph receipts as they go; the store, total and date are read for them and the image is kept. Or drop the month's card statement in and every line is read, reviewed and filed.
  • Pull one employee's receipts for a month as a ZIP, every file named with the date, company, amount and recorder.
  • Roles for who may edit, void, export or manage the team; members can be limited to seeing only what they recorded.
  • Company analytics show every vendor's frequency, charge type and trend; export it all to Excel or PDF for the accountant.

Questions people ask before signing up

More in the Help & FAQ.

Do I need a card to start the trial?
No. The trial starts the moment you sign up: 14 days with everything included. Choose monthly or yearly whenever you like during the trial, and nothing is charged until it ends. If the trial ends first, your account becomes read-only, your records stay for 90 days, and choosing a plan brings it all back.
How accurate is the voice assistant?
It is built so a mistake never reaches your records unnoticed. Every expense, budget and payment in is shown as a draft for you to check; anything it could not hear it asks about; you can change any amount, company, category or date by voice; and nothing is saved until you say “save”. The understanding is done by Google Gemini on our servers. Replies are spoken by the device itself, so they start straight away and cost you nothing, and what is said aloud stays short, so the amounts are yours to read rather than everyone's to hear. Voice works in Chrome, Safari and Edge, and on the phone app; you can type to the assistant as well.
Does it tell me what I actually bought, not just what I spent?
Yes. When a receipt is read, its lines are read with it, so each thing you bought is kept with its quantity, its price per unit and the shop. The Items page then shows what each thing usually costs you, whether its price is rising or falling, which shop is cheapest, and what is due to be bought again. You can also type the lines in yourself on any transaction.
Can each person have their own share of the budget?
Yes. A month's budget can be split between the people on the account, and spending counts against whoever recorded it, so each person sees their own share and what is left of it. An admin decides who may see the household budget and who may change budgets; new members start with neither.
Can I upload my bank or credit card statement?
Yes. Click Import Statement on the dashboard or the Income page (on the phone, the menu or the dashboard card) and choose the PDF or CSV your bank or credit card company gives you, or photograph the pages. Every line is read and shown for review: purchases become expenses, salary and deposits become income, and the card payment that appears on both your bank and card statements is set aside so it is never counted twice. Lines you have already recorded are skipped. Add the rows you keep in one go, and undo the import if you change your mind. Files are read once and are not stored.
Do I have to categorise my transactions myself?
No. Each expense is given its category as it is recorded (Groceries, Dining, Fuel, Bills, Subscriptions and two dozen more, plus any you add yourself), and category budgets, top categories and company analytics all work from that. There is no pile of “uncategorised” waiting for you.
Can my partner, family or staff use it with me?
Yes. Invite them by email; the link creates their login on your account. Give each person a role (Admin, Editor or User), decide whether they see everyone's transactions and income or only their own, and use the “Created By” filter to see who recorded what. The plan includes five people; more cost $3.99 each per month.
Can I get my data out?
Always. Transactions, the company breakdown and budget history export to CSV, Excel and PDF, with whatever filters and period you have on screen. Receipt images download as a ZIP. Your data is encrypted in transit, and you can delete the account yourself from Settings.
Which currencies does it support?
27+ currencies, including USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, GHS, NGN, KES, ZAR, JPY, CNY, INR, BRL and CHF. Your currency is detected when you sign up and can be changed in Settings.
